Few Fenno-Swedish punk bands have garnered such respect both domestically and internationally as Heartbreak Stereo. Sadly for the fans of this hardworking and honest group, HBS decided to call it quits during the making of the ZXC compilation. Warheads was HBS' very first single, never before properly released.

I absolutely loved this band. This was melodic punk with international quality. Frontman Antte worked as a sound technician at the Finnish broadcasting company Yle when I was there for a few years, and he’s just such a nice guy. I was really happy for their success and the appreciation they got in Europe, and likewise sad when they called it quits. I was, fortunately, able to catch one of their last gigs at the -- now likewise defunct -- club Nosturi in Helsinki.
