Skulldriver plays groovy thrash metal, or more appropriate to the band's style, redneck metal. Skulldriver was formed in Liljendal, Loviisa, in 2005. At that time, the band had only singer / guitarist Kuli (Lasse Kullström), guitarist Pede (Peter Lindfors) and drummer Kari (Kari Korhonen) and ere jamming covers by Slayer, Sepultura and Pantera. Bassist Jocke (Joakim Holmsten) and percussionist / drummer Tomi (Tomi Korhonen) joined the band and Skulldriver decided to start developing their own music.

In 2006, the first self-published EP was recorded including the first two songs co-written by the whole band. The recordings were made modestly in a do-it-yourself spirit. A couple of years later, the next EP was recorded, which, like its predecessor, also contained two tracks. Just a short time after recording the EP, the band was joined by a third guitarist Arska (Ari Virtanen) and in 2010, Skulldriver's first feature play "Facts, Fiction and Fucked Up Situations" was self-published.

This album was re-released digitally by Elitbolaget in 2019.
