Superflesh was born from the ruins of Flesh to play a rock/metal-hybrid with questionable topics in the vein of Turbonegro. This spanned through two demos, which have now been compiled onto this compilation release. It is a testament of stupidity forged into audio.

The original Flesh was basically Matias’ first band, which made a demo in 2006. At that point the band was Aleksi, Matias, Mika and Jonas. The demo was utter crap, so it has been omitted from this compilation. After Mika was swallowed by the earth and Jonas quit playing drums, Matias and Aleksi revamped the project into Superflesh, with bandmate Otto from Bob Malmström on vocals and Andy on guitars. Aleksi moved to UAE and quit before the 2014 EP, but bandmate Wille from Trident & Bob Malmström jumped on board to help finish the EP.

The project always struggled to find it’s true identity and it went into hiatus after the 2014 EP LOVE. One show was played and Niko Mönkkönen took some amazing shots for a coming EP that never saw the light of day. These session pictures are served with this compilation as they were arguably the best thing we ever managed to do. Superflesh was never laid to rest, so we will see if a resurfacing will occur at some point in history. If it happens, it is not by popular demand, as this band never took flight.
