With influences ranging from Alice Cooper to Turbonegro, Trashcan Dance out of Helsinki combine punk, metal and hard rock to make their own deranged punk rock opera. These songs have been especially mixed in L.A. for this compilation, and the final versions can be found on the record Reptile Heart.

Trashcan Dance is one of only two bands on the compilation that is still active as of 2021, albeit with a slightly different lineup. With his other band, Dogshit Boys, vocalist and long-time rock journalist Lasse Grönroos has emerged as a sort of granddaddy of Fenno-Swedish punk, along with figures like Gregge Grönholm and Peter Norrlin, also included in the compilation. Lasse was also the actual instigator of the ZXC compilation, although it was released through my blog.
