Inner Stigma (Digisingle 2009)

Matias: Inner Stigma was a two-track outing which was aimed for a couple of compilations (Uprising 1 and Downtown Metal Vol.7). At this point we were at the end of our creative span, but managed to craft Inner Stigma, which I feel is a really strong metal-track that stands time. The B-side is With Burning Hearts, which suffers a bit from the lyrics written by *sigh* me.

Tuomas: The release of these two tracks also saw the introduction of a line-up change as Aleksi stepped down from the guitar duties and our original drummer Wille took to the axe.

Matias: Aleksi then moved to UAE to become a professional ice-hockey coach/player in the desert kingdoms.

Inner Stigma

Tuomas: A second coming. An ambitious piece that was written with “With Burning Hearts” over a weekend. Combines some thrash riffing with old school death metal. Released originally as a digital single and on a couple of compilation albums.

Aleksi: Inner Stigma was the first song of Trident I saw live from the audience. It was in Gloria Helsinki 2009 and I remember I felt proud of guys producing clearly updated stuff including cool guitar parts and overall structure.
