“Sven Tuba and the Seagulls” got its start in a bar in the old industrial town of Karis in 1997, and played its last gig in a bar in Karis. Fronted by punk legend Gregge Grönholm, members of Sven Tuba och Fiskmåsarna have since played in a number of outfits. “Dansa med mig själv” was first released on the ZXC compilation.

S.T.O.F. was, sadly, “before my time”, but I heard whispers about legendary gigs at the student bar (speakeasy) Åbo Nation (or “The Dome”, as it was officially called) when I moved to Helsinki in 2002. Frontman Gregge is still active as of today, and probably will be until he drops.
