Fleshbox EP 2012

Matias: Machine drums, hollow guitar sounds, way too distorted bass and a general feeling of what-the-fuck. This EP was recorded in Niko Mönkkönen’s garage and it was magical, as it was the beginning of something new. We didn’t really know what we wanted to do, and it shows, but we had great fun doing this. Andy recorded his parts in Berlin and mixed and mastered the EP.

Aleksi: cant forget the session at Niko’s garage. Cops stopped me on the road of Laajasalo after the recordings and kept asking what kind of songs fella been recording all night and were looking at my rockenroll smelled backseat. I told them i would send them the ready album if they let me go and that's how i managed to escape after speeding under slight DUI.

Otto: Not ready to fuck? Superflesh makes you as ready as a humanoid can be (to fuck)!

Andy: This is the soundtrack of Superflesh to me. This was the first video and we did our first photo shoot at the same time as we shot the video. Good vibes.

Matias: This is a borrowed track from tracker-legend Lasse Öörni (Cadaver). At some point in history he made a couple of satire tracks in the vein of 80’s cheese metal and we of course had to do the track as the songwriting is stellar. Since it’s written by a legend, it stands out as the best track on the demo.
